The Animal Rescue Charity P.A.W.S. has been operating for the past 20 years and is merging with Merlin Animal Rescue who were founded 5 years ago.
The main object of these two groups is the rescue and re-horning of dogs that have strayed and been abandoned. These animals are collected from the streets and countryside by the authorities and held at a dog pound and then systematically destroyed after a short period. We also help re-home many unwanted farm collies, retired greyhounds and dogs from people who for many reasons are unable to keep their dogs.
These two groups now cover a vast area of North West Wales and the coming together under the charitable status of P.A.W.S will save the lives of many dogs who would otherwise would be destroyed.
Help is also given to Chin-up the Chinchilla Sanctuary.
