Adopting an animal
At Merlin we re-home over 200 animals a year, mainly dogs although previously we have re-homed horses, cats, ferrets and snakes. If you are considering an addition to your family we are in an excellent position to be able to help you.
Our animals are looked after in a home environment on a temporary basis so we get to know characters and traits well and can advise on the most suitable pet for you. It is important to consider the environment you are able to give a pet carefully, for example:

Are you very active? Do you want a walking companion? |

Do you leave the house (and therefore the pet) for more than a few hours a day? |

Have you a well fenced garden? |
All pets we re-home are fully vaccinated and spayed / castrated. If they have any existing medical conditions we will make you aware of them at an early stage in the process.
