Merlin Animal Rescue – Dogs in Need

Duke and Duchess are two beautiful greyhounds, there  about 6yrs old,  they were both handed into a local pound by a member of the public, sadly they have been with us since july last year with no interest at all, black greyhounds are very hard to home, no one seems to want them !

They are very loving and extremely friendly and affectionate  dogs, they love fuss ans cuddles,

They both come as a pair as they are totally devoted to each other. They get very upset whenever they have been separated,   they  walk perfectly  on the lead,and are just happy to walk by your side at whatever pace your going.

They both love there food and will never say no to a treat !

They are not cat or small dog or  furry friendly,

If anyone can offer a forever home to these two wonderful dogs they will  be the happiest dogs in britain ! they have so much love to give and will make fantastic loyal companions to the right home,

This is little snowy, he is a terrier collie mix ? about 7-8 weeks old,

sadly he was dumped and taken to the local pound, were we saved him from being put to sleep, he is a delightful little boy, bit shy but getting better after 24 hours, he loves his food and is quite greedy, but this is understandable poor thing is very thin and was full of worms,

he loves to play with my little dogs and is getting more confident  with my two big lurchers, bit scared of my cats at first but is quite happy with them now, snowy needs a special forever home, were he will be loved and cared for, for the rest of his life, he is a  loving little dog and loves to run up for a stroke and kiss, not too keen on being picked up yet but still very early days, but will happily fall asleep next to you or on your knee, if you think you are the right owners for snowy please call jill on 07780671649 or  nik on 07789810663 thank you

Bella is a whippet cross terrier, about 6 plus yrs old

even tho bella looks quite old she is quite a lively girl, absolutly loves her walks and food, very loving and enjoys loads of fuss and cuddles, will make a lovely companion for a family or someone who can spoil her and give her all the love she deserves,

Lara is a beautiful gsd cross bitch, she is about 12 – 18 months old,

very friendly and loving girl, little bit strong on the lead but with some time and patience this can be sorted no problem with some basic training, gets on great with all the dogs in kennels, not been cat tested yet.

little bit thin so we are giving her extra food to look even more beautiful than she already is, she will make a very loving family companion when she finds her special home,

Cassie is a very pretty greyhound bitch, she is 4 yrs old,

cassie is a very friendly and loving ex irish racing greyhound, she is a lovely dog to walk on the lead and loves having a run in a enclosed field, she can be a little greedy with her food and treats, she gets on great with all the dogs in the kennels and currently shares with trigger and annie, cassie isnt good with cats or small furries,

cassie will make a fantastic companion and will not take too much room in a house, very easy dog to walk and wont need much exercise, greyhounds are very lazy dogs and will happily sleep most of the day, this lovely girl has so much love to give and will be a fun dog to have around, please help if you can

Annie is a beautiful greyhound bitch,  she is about 6 yrs old, she came into our kennels as a police cruelty case,  annie always has the  biggest smile and waggiest tail whenever she see’s any of us, it amazed us all how badly and cruely she was treated  and how she could ever trust a human again  but she is the most wonderful happy dog you could meet, annie isnt too keen on cats or small furries but gets on with all dogs she has met,

she loves her food and treats and loves going for walks and having a free run in the field with the other dogs,

we want a special home for annie with the previous life she had, one where she will be the centre of attention, she will make a wonderful family dog, needs very little exercise and wont take too much room, annie has so much love to give and desperatly needs a forever home where she will be loved
