Happy Endings!

Here are some more of the dogs we have successfully rehomed.  Some have stories, some are too busy enjoying the new life they have to tell us a yarn but we wouldn't have it any other way.  If you would like to send us an update about how any of the rehomed dogs are getting on please do so using our online form and we will be happy to publish any happy endings.

BobbieBobby - Now Marley

When we first met Bobby at Merlin this was the description of hi "12month old Lurcher. Nervous little boy who would benefit from a patient owner and would quickly find his feet"

A few months on and this has just landed in our inbox :)

"Thought it would be nice to share some Marleyphotos of our much loved rescue dog Marley and update you on his progress, Well he has settled in very well to his new forever home, he has grown in everyway, he had little confidence on his arrival but has come out of his shell, hes a absolute clown and makes us all laugh, what a star he is, he is smitten with his new friend and has found his place very quickly, he loves his home comforts and food! well thats another story, Marleythe boy eats, and eats, including the furniture if hes given the chance, we just love him and couldnt imagine life without him now, our very special little lady seems just as smitten with him, thank you so much Merlin for introducing Marley too us but im not sure we chose him to him choosing us, i think he knew he was on to a good thing, many thanks again to Jill for all your support and hard work in helping such needy animals, you are a star x x x"

OScarOscar

"Hi ,

We adopted Oscar ( was Paddy) in July, he had been rescued as a puppy with his sister from Ireland I think (there is still a photo of the puppies on your website). We think he is a collie/lurcher cross, but not sure.

We just wanted to let you know how gorgeous he is! He is such a Oscarzingy, bouncy dog we should have called hime Tigger, he bounces around with legs that are too long for his body, charging around the garden, jumping on the trampoline, the garden table, he chases the birds, the chickens anything that moves and digs huge holes!

He has given us hours of pleasure these past few months and we would just like to say thank you sooo much for letting us adopt him. I have attached some photos. We are in Chester now if you know of the wherabouts of his sister, please could you forward this email on to her new owners as we would love to get in touch to see how she is doing. (We felt very guilty leaving her when we picked up Oscar)

Again, thanks, Julie, Tim and Jordan Coxall"
