Meet and Greet
Come and see us this weekend at two venuews below. We will have some of our rescue dogs with us who are looking for homes and will be available to answer any questions you might have about adopting or fostering a furry friend. See you there!

As a small charity the main focus of our fundraising is currently our annual Dog Show and Fete. This fun day is for all the family, and all your pets!
2011 Dog Show and Fete
When: Saturday 10th September
Time: 11am - 4pm

Information: Come and join us for a family friendly dog show, bring your dogs along to enter into our fun dog classes, which include "Most handsome dog" "Prettiest bitch" "Best six legs" and many more.
We will also have refreshments and stalls.
Please join us and have a fun filled day whilst helping us to help more rescue dogs find their forever homes !

Charity Night - Cancelled

Information: We are holding a charity night to help raise money and awareness for Merlin. The band 'Newborn' are playing and hopefully we will be doing a auction of promises and raffles etc. It should be a great night for all and we hope to see as many of you there as possible, bring your friends and enjoy some great music, food and company whilst supporting your favourite animal rescue charity!
Charity Dog Wash
Celyn Kennels, Pentre Celyn, Ruthin are holding a Charity Dog Wash in aid of Merlin/Paws Animal Rescue throughout the month of May.
Why not treat your Dog to a "Bubble Bath" - all proceeds to Merlin/Paws Animal Rescue.

Sponsored Walk
Thank you to all of you who came on the sponsored walk with with us around Treimechion on April 24th 2011. It was a great day and we are sure it has raised not only some much needed cash but awareness of this great charity and our goals.

Rhuddlan Community Centre
Merlin Animal Rescue are having a stall at Rhuddlan's Attic Sales on 6th February 2011.
All proceeds will go to Merlin Animal Rescue, and any donations of unwanted items / Christmas presents would be welcome, please contact Bronwen or Linda on 07840 238290 / 07903 001330
Sale is held from 8-12.30 at Rhuddlan Community Centre, Parliament Street, Rhuddlan (just off the high street).

Pet Place
Merlin Animal Rescue would like to say a big thank you to the Pet Place in Ruthin, who held a special fund-raising day for us. We took Ben and Mr Fox with us and people enjoyed meeting them. The staff at the Pet Place really got into the spirit of the day organising various stalls and competitions for visitors and all were wearing Dog themed fancy dress!

2010 Dog Show and Fete
Thank you to everyone that attended our Annual Dog Show on Saturday, it was great to see everyone and lovely to see so many happily rehomed dogs!
Special congratulations to all the class winners! Thanks also to everyone that sponsored the classes and to all those people who helped with the organisation and planning for the day to ensure all ran smoothly.

2009 Dog Show
Our 2009 Show was a success, many of the dogs that are now happily re-homed attended with their new owners and it was great to see how well they were settled. We had a Dog Show including classes such as “Dog that looks most like their owner” and this was very well supported! We also have agility for beginners, stalls, demonstrations and everything else a dog lover needs for a perfect day out.Sponsored Walk - 11th April 2010
What an amazing turn out we had at our sponsored walk. It was great to see so many of our rehomed dogs coming to support those that were still looking for their forever homes. We are still totting up the totals we raised from the event and will let you know as soon as we have the final sums, needless to say every penny has really helped change the life of a dog in need, so thank you. We have put our photos on Facebook, which you can see by following this link, where you can tag your dogs and add pictures of your own. If you have pictures of your own you would like to add please send them to webmaster@merlinanimalrescue.co.uk and we will include them.

Transport
If you have a vehicle that can transport dogs safely we would be delighted to hear from you as we are always looking for help transporting animals to foster and permanent homes around the North Wales and North West areas. If this is something you can help us with please contact us via our online form and we will get back to you.
How can you help right now?
If you own a shop, car, have anything with a window (!), a notice board at work or at your local church or group, please print out a copy of our most recent poster and put it up to try and help the dogs we currently have. They will be available to download from here as soon as they are available.
